Who we are

Trivial Group is an AI product studio for education companies, operating from Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Ljubljana (Slovenia). You can reach us at [email protected].

What data we collect and why

Analytics

We use two analytics tools to understand how visitors use this site:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC). Collects anonymised usage data including pages visited, time on site, and general location (country/city level). Google may process this data on servers outside the EU. We have enabled IP anonymisation. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool.
  • Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights (Vercel Inc.). Collects anonymised page view data and performance metrics. No cookies are set; data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors. See Vercel's privacy documentation.

Contact form

When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you write. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your details with third parties.

No other tracking

We do not use advertising pixels, retargeting tools, or any other tracking beyond what is described above.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish visitors and sessions. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies. No other cookies are set by this site.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to use this site.

Legal basis (GDPR)

We are based in the EU and process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legal basis for processing analytics data is our legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used and improving it. For contact form submissions, the legal basis is your consent (by submitting the form).

Data retention

Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics, after which it is automatically deleted. Contact form enquiries are kept for as long as necessary to handle your request, and no longer.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to object to processing or request that we restrict it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. In the Netherlands: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. In Slovenia: Informacijski pooblasc̆enec.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
